A friend of Mine, lutist by profession, time ago told Me about a movie he saw by chance also suggested by a friend of his, violinist, in a chain of underground silent watching. A Kinski 1989 movie, Paganini, not mainstream and somewhat controversial. Enriched by a really decadent approach, raugh and with often somewhat almost unacceptable pervertions and truly amusing sexual intercourses, can be a nice mind provocation. Personally suggested.

I've been lucky to find in my favourite bookstore a very nice and pretty cheap Taschen edition of erotic illustrations through History. Till now had to relay on personal research of singles or past editions, used books deep diving and so on, just to get a few prints of a certain nature. Erotica Universalis is a wonderful collection of some antiquities that for once doesn't focus only on De Sade's Justine prints or Aretino's; amusing, interesting or exciting, and often all those together, that can be a small summary to start with to expand then your research if you are as me a fan of the genre. Also, due to the CTEA, I might use a few for home decor and detailing patterns on some things am building (if I find them shared on wikis and official sites) which can add an interesting: "Oh look, there's a Satyr humping a Nymph" exclamation we all love. Here's a link to the Taschen informations page.

II.
Libertine started as a practical idea a year ago, though it was in my mind since long. I am not sure exactly the shape it will take, if more erotic oriented or more driven to classical art and decor; if it will be a furniture only minor line of Fallen Gods Inc. or also include some builds. What I am certain about it is that I'll follow a personal taste and share things I will basically build for myself or how I would like them to be.
Recently I opened the Buildings & Furniture area on Selidor, as part of Fallen Gods Inc. driven more by the style of some structures since fitting the fantasy aura with time my main brand got recognized with, but I also feel the desire to create a separate line to express a very precise concept and atmosphere, that will also be adult oriented. I do enjoy a lot the mystical and fantasy driven possibilities second life creative expression can allow, as also enjoy recreating with a personal twist an era I was always fond of, the modern era that includes the XVI, XVII and early XVIII centuries, which I guess can be seen mixing often in my builds.
I could say much more, but would like this introduction brief and leave space for further development as time goes on, for now here is Libertine's first official release and a reminder about the Hardcore Hunt.
I.
I see no good in having several lords;
Let one alone be master, let one alone be king.
THESE WORDS Homer puts in the mouth of Ulysses, as he addresses the people. If he had said nothing further than "I see no good in having several lords," it would have been well spoken. For the sake of logic he should have maintained that the rule of several could not be good since the power of one man alone, as soon as he acquires the title of master, becomes abusive and unreasonable. Instead he declared what seems preposterous: "Let one alone be master, let one alone be king." We must not be critical of Ulysses, who at the moment was perhaps obliged to speak these words in order to quell a mutiny in the army, for this reason, in my opinion, choosing language to meet the emergency rather than the truth. Yet, in the light of reason, it is a great misfortune to be at the beck and call of one master, for it is impossible to be sure that he is going to be kind, since it is always in his power to be cruel whenever he pleases. As for having several masters, according to the number one has, it amounts to being that many times unfortunate. Although I do not wish at this time to discuss this much debated question, namely whether other types of government are preferable to monarchy, still I should like to know, before casting doubt on the place that monarchy should occupy among commonwealths, whether or not it belongs to such a group, since it is hard to believe that there is anything of common wealth in a country where everything belongs to one master. This question, however, can remain for another time and would really require a separate treatment involving by its very nature all sorts of political discussion.
